Garden Coach

Need gardening ideas?

Want somebody to give you practical answers?

A GARDEN COACH MIGHT BE THE ANSWER.

If you live in the Toronto area, I will come to your garden. You get practical, no-nonsense advice about growing vegetables and success in the edible garden.

Here’s How it Works:

  • I start by getting basic details about your yard and your needs by phone or e-mail.
  • Then I visit your yard in person to determine conditions such as drainage, shading, and soil.
  • I give you verbal recommendations during the visit.
  • I send you a written report by e-mail, covering the information discussed during the consult along with additional suggestions and information.

To book a coaching session or find out more, call me at (416) 953-1549,
or e-mail me using the contact form.

Experience

I’m a life-long gardener who has managed to garden wherever I’ve lived—creating allotment gardens, container gardens, indoor gardens, and gardens hewn from overgrown backyards of rented houses.

Along with a horticultural science degree, my work experience spans plant propagation, greenhouses, biological controls, nursery and conservatory plants, and horticultural supplies.

AS A HORTICULTURIST, LIFE-LONG GARDENER, AND JOURNALIST, I have a knack for taking the barrage of gardening information that’s out there and translating it into practical, no-nonsense advice. It’s like training wheels for new gardeners. And for experienced gardeners, it’s an informed voice.

Services are charged on per-hour basis.
